1st match : Australia Vs Japan.

Jap lead through Shunsuke Nakamura's 26th-minute goal, which was supposed to disallowed as a jap player impeded Aust keeper.( imcompetence of the ref =x) Aust equalized late late in the 2nd half at 84th min thru cahill, a second half sub. supersub cahill made it 2-1 in the 89th min. japan was led shell shocked in 91st min by john Aloisi goal, sealing a magnificent fightback by Australia.

2nd match : USA Vs Czech Republic
USA 0 Czech 3
USA was totally out classed n was handed a whitewashing by the Czechs. Czech players flew off the blocks in the 5th min by netting a goal. Koller the big man scored with a thumping header after defensive lapeses by US players on the left flanks. US almost levelled but capt reyna thumderous shot cannoed off the post. at 36 mins, before HT, rosicky doubled the czech lead as he fired a booming shot into goal. Czech settled the match on 76mins, putting the result beyond doubt as Rosicky took a thru ball by neved to score with ease.

3rd match : Italy Vs Ghana
Italy 2 Ghana 0
Italy almost scored early as 1min. Ghana keeper was dodgy, fumbling at all crosses, set pieces etc. ( he's a useless guy la. even i can score against him :D) shortyly bfore hlaf time. Pirlo broke the deadlock by ramming in a 30 yard strike after collecting a short corner pass frm Totti. Italy doubled the advantage late in the 2nd half when sub Iaquinta punished kuffour by taking advantage of his mistake to fire in the goal.
