Togo shocked S korea by scoring 1st thru mouhammad keita. S korea players looked jaded in e 1st half. spraying pass tat were either underhit or overhit. 2nd half saw ang jung hwan brought on. Togo capt was sent off after receiving 2 yellows. frm the resulting free kick, S Korea equallized thru lee chun soon. Ang netted the winner in mid 2nd half by firing a thunderous shot in on goal from way outside the box.

France played way way below expectations. the players were unwilling to run, pissing off capt Zidane who demostrated his unhappiness at his teammates by railling at them on pitch. Swiss had 2 chances to put the match beyond doubt but a horrendous miss by frei followed by barthez reflex save kept the socre level. france burst to life in the clsoing stages of the match when tehy bombed forward, but to no avail. zidane booked as he showed his frustrations by slamming a free kick too early to the ref liking.

Brazil scored at abt 30plus mins.. a strike by kaka was enuff to settle this encounter. kaka rammed the ball in frm out 18yard to nail a vicotry for brazil. Ronaldo had off night. he was virtually not on the pitch as he nvr make any runs, and was subbed by robinho in the 68th min. the change led to brazil playing more fluently but adriano missed a sitter n thus miss out the chance to double the lead.
